Getting Started with the Presenter CMS
Companyapp Presenter is administered via a dedicated content management system (CMS). It is accessed from a desktop / laptop computer using the Chrome web browser (other browsers may work – but are not supported). The CMS is used to create, manage and share presentations and other associated documents. Content can be viewed natively on the web using the dedicated online viewer and sent directly to clients by the systems’ in-built (and fully tracked) email feature. Content can also be downloaded to the Presenter Pro App for offline use in face-to-face meetings.
Logging in
To access the system you need to be invited by a system administrator. They will send you a welcome email that contains all the details you need to be able to login. The subject line of the email will be ‘USER ACCOUNT ACTIVATED’. If you have not received an email – you should contact your administrator.
Updating your account profile details
Once you are logged into the system, we recommend you change your password straight away. To do this, click the cog icon next to your username (top right of all pages). From the menu that drops down, select ‘ MY ACCOUNT‘. Here you can enter (and confirm) a new password.
PLEASE NOTE: changing your password in the CMS will also change it for the Presenter Pro App. When you login to the app, use the new password you created.
You should also complete the rest of your profile details on the ‘MY ACCOUNT‘ page (first name, last name, phone number etc) as these details are used to automatically populate your signature, when you send an email via the system.
Make sure you click ‘Save’.
System HELP features
The CMS has a number of HELP features to get you up to speed quickly. Next to your username you will see the ‘Help’ link. Click the link to access these dedicated help pages which contain videos, FAQ’s and the full system manual.
On the key pages of the CMS you will also see a video tutorial link with video instructions for that specific page. On all key fields in the CMS there are also tooltips to give you additional information reagrding the correct parameters that are required.
